Daleee! You heard us right. The band that’s been tearing up the scene since the 1980s, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, is going on tour - and everyone is invited! On Friday June 27th catch the legendary band right here at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant as they take on the world with their Tucanes Time Tour 2025 for all of our listening and dancing pleasure.

The Choctaw Grand Theater here in Durant is so excited to welcome Los Tucanes De Tijuana to town for their 2025 Tucanes TIme Tour on Friday, June 27th. Taking on dates and locations across both Mexico and America, the tour will showcase over thirty stops in both Countries and other select locations around the world. The makers of northeastern Mexican sound, this will be a once in a lifetime show that you absolutely don’t want to miss.
Los Tucanes De Tijuana are a Mexican norteño band that was formed in Tijuana back in 1987. Founded by Mario Quintero Lara, the band was one of the main pioneers of playing traditional hits in a more contemporary way - they are known for their fast and bachata style hits that get everyone dancing, and they have been awarded appropriately for their sound. They have won Latin Grammys and been nominated for five traditional Grammys, have over 15 million listeners across streaming platforms,became the first Mexican group to play at Coachella, and even have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You’ve also absolutely heard your favorite Latin DJ throw some of their hottest tracks into their set at the club at any given point in your 20s, so it’s time for you to check them out first hand, don’t you agree?! We thought so.
