Staind tickets

Durant Durant! It’s Been Awhile - how ya feeling out there all my Rockers and Ragers?! When our favorite bands are So Far Away and touring at other places around the world (or not releasing any new music), it’s easy for the memories to Fade away and for us to forget all the good times they brought us in the past. And true - Everything Changes - but that doesn’t mean we should miss our favorite bands when they come back to The Choctaw! ESPECIALLY when it’s Staind taking the stage!!

STAIND, our early 2000s Americana nostalgia-core post grunge rockers, are going on tour this September - and we need you right here with us when they take the stage! Apart of their Awaken The Fallen Tour, catch the Staind crew right here at Choctaw Theater on Friday September 5th for all of our listening and nu-metal pleasure.

Tickets are on sale right now and starting at $132 for the show that includes Breaking Benjamin as a co-headliner, Wage War, and Lakeview. Grab your passes ASAP - and all of your best friends, too! And let’s have the best night ever!

Awaken The Fallen Tour 2025

The Choctaw Grand Theater, located on the edge of Durant and conveniently situated between OKC and Dallas, is so excited to welcome Staind and Breaking Benjamin to the stage for their Co-headlining Awaken The Fallen Tour 2025 that’s been taking on cities all year long. Hitting the stage right here in Durant on Friday September 5th, the tour will see the bands play twenty eight shows across America - including The Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, The Resch Center in Green Bay, Blossom Music Center in Ohio, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Orange Beach Alabama, and of course - right here in Durant at The Choctaw.

Staind is the voice of a generation - and they formed for those of the early 2000s who love hard rock but also emotional lyrics delicately placed on top of nu-metal strings. Formed in Massachusetts in 1995, the band popped on the mainstream scene in 1999 with their second album Dysfunction - bringing heavy angsty sounds and immersive soundscapes to radios and walkmans all across America. They figured out the formula - and once their third album, Break The Cycle, debuted with their most popular song It’s Been Awhile - they cemented their rock legend status, and amassed a massive fanbase of indie rockers across the world. The album went on to go quintuple platinum, hit the top of all of Billboards charts, and produce worldwide tours for the band with all of their subsequent albums. The fans at the time (and now) loved their emotionally charged lyrics, the fact that they pioneered Nu-metal and brought it to the mainstream, and the band is countlessly credited for influencing new artists who are currently making waves in the genre - like Baby Metal and Three Days Grace. Back in 2008, Staind guitarist Mike Mushok talked with the blog Ultimate-Guitar on his creative process “The real struggle is always with trying to come up with new things and not repeating yourself. Trying to grow as a band and mature and write better songs. That to me is really the challenge. Of course you want your fans to like what you're doing but in the end we as a band have to love it before we can put it out. Hopefully the fans like it also but we really have to please ourselves first,”. And these sentiments still hold true - the band is always looking to give us something new, and we’re here ready to see and hear it all when they take the stage this September.

So, like we said, you won’t want to miss these rock legends live. Grab your tickets today - right now - and we’ll see you soon, right here at Choctaw!
