Ashley Mcbride captures hearts with her lyrical voice that puts a modern twist on traditional country themes, a passion for the genre, and a touch of rock and roll confidence. Ashley has released three studio albums in her career. All of which are gained positive acclaim. As Jonathan Bernstein calls her, she is "a whiskey-swilling high priestess of dive bars whose radically lyrics-driven, rock-leaning approach to mainstream country commands instant attention."
In 2006 and 2011, Ashely released two demo albums, all are self-released. The first is self-titled, and the sophomore is entitled "Eastbound." A massive turn in her career came years after when country musician Eric Church took notice of her 2016 extended play, "Jalopies & Expensive Guitars." His encouragement led to her signing a recording deal with Warner Music Nashville for country music. In 2017, her debut single, "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega," came out. Her first studio album, "Girl Going Nowhere," subsequently came out. The two releases were huge successes. The album would bring her her first Grammy. Her second studio album, "Never Will," would follow in 2020. The album's main track, "One Night Standards," became her first single on Billboard 200. In 2022, she released "Lindeville." This year, she snatched another Grammy Award for "Never Wanted to Be That Girl" alongside singer Carly Pearce.
