If you walk into a karaoke joint in the Philippines, chances are, someone could be belting out Lani Misalucha's mega hit single "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" (I Will Love You Tomorrow). Lani Misalucha became a household name as a multi-platinum and multi-awarded recording artist, a television variety show host, a stage musical actress, and a concert superstar. Hence, MTV Southeast Asia dubbed her "Asia's Nightingale". In 2002, Misalucha packed her bags and flew to the US, making her the first headliner Asian artist in the Las Vegas Strip's main showroom. With a series of successful shows and a multitude of fans who magnanimously received her onstage, Lani Misalucha earned the moniker "New Siren of the Strip", named the "Best Singer" in the "27th Annual Best of Las Vegas" poll by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Arnel Pineda's journey to stardom is stuff that rock and roll dreams are made of. With his humble beginnings in the Philippines as a struggling artist, a vagabond going from one gig to another between Manila and Hongkong, Pineda held on firmly to his dream despite years of desperation and hardships. In 1999, Warner Music Philippines signed Pineda as a solo artist and he released his self-titled solo album. He then spent more years performing in Hong Kong, then moved back to Manila in 2006 and formed the band Zoo. Thanks to a YouTube live performance video uploaded by a fan, Journey guitarist Neal Schon said “he had to step away from the computer and let what he heard sink in his mind" -- as he had found the vocalist who could step in the shoes of former Journey vocalist, Steve Perry. From there, Pineda stepped into the world stage and took the world by storm.
