Ryan Bingham is an American singer-songwriter and actor based in Los Angeles, California. Born in 1981, he started working music when he was 16 years old. He signed his first record deal with Lost Highway Records in 2007. He released his first two studio releases, Mescalito and Roadhouse Sun, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Both releases received critical acclaim and lead the way for Bingham to work with Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett on the film Crazy Heart’s soundtrack. Bingham won an academy, golden globe, and critics’ choice award for “The Weary Kind”, the film’s theme song.
